Adam Milstein Believes that Handling Both Entrepreneurship and Philanthropy is More Rewarding

Adam Milstein believes that a business person should rely on their own intuition and be a part of the solution. He is an active philanthropist, real estate investor, and community leader who is the managing partner of Hager Pacific Properties. He and his friend and partner, David Hager, founded this agency after college and it began as a brokerage, but, today, Mr. Milstien is a real estate investor.

Along with real estate investing, Adam Milstein has become an active philanthropist for the Jewish-American population. He and his wife have founded several agencies including Sifriyat Pijama B’America, which is an agency that provides books in Hebrew as well as teaches Jewish values to Israeli-Jewish-American families in the U.S.

Besides the agencies he has co-founded, Mr. Millstein is also on the Board of Israel on Campus Coalition, the Jewish Funders Network, AISH Los Angeles, StandWithUs, Hasbara Fellowships, the L.A. Board of Birthright Israel, and the AIPAC National Council, so he has a busy schedule.

When asked about this recently, he said that he likes his work in real estate because it is always different with the market fluctuating as it does, but when he is also leading the community in philanthropic work, it makes all of his time more satisfying.

Adam Milstein came to the U.S. in 1981 from his homeland of Israel where he was born and raised. While there, he served in the Israeli Army and attended the Technion Institute. After graduating, he wanted more education, so he moved his family to California while he attended the University of Southern California and received his MA in Entrepreneur Studies.

He was asked in an interview with Ideamench how he brought ideas and plans to fruition, and he explained that he pushes through until they become a reality. This means not relying on others, but being prepared to accomplish things on your own.

Mr. Milstein believes in being consistent and persistent and counts those as two of his best traits. He says the way to be successful in any business is to follow up with every lead or contact because otherwise, you’ll miss out on opportunities.
