Avi Weisfogel Speaks Out To Help Others Understand Sleep Apnea Issues
Did you know that over ninety percent of the people that have sleep apnea go undiagnosed or treated? Most people believe they are having difficulty sleeping because of stress or being uncomfortable. Some people may have this problem but many are experiencing sleep apnea and are stopping breathing while they are asleep. Many of the people with sleep apnea have issues such as High blood pressure, diabetes, or they smoke. These issues are the most popular reasons for sleep apnea. A dental expert took it upon himself to begin to educate and treat people with this condition. Avi Weisfogel from New Jersey is the owner of Old Bridge Dental and the sleep apnea business, Dental Sleep Masters. Avi graduated with his Doctorate from New York University. He is very popular with other dental professionals because he helps them understand the oral appliances and TRD’s that help with snoring and tongues that drop in the back of the mouth. Avi loves helping another dentist to learn how to spot problems. He loves helping others understand what they can do to help promote treatments other than the BiPAP or CPAP.
Another thing that Avi Weisfogel is proud of is his association with Operation Smile. Operation Smile helps people that are unable to help themselves with things such as Cleft Palates and facial deformities. He began a go fund me page to help raise money for children and poor individuals needing to have dental work done. He rides around on the Operation Smile bus that visits poor neighborhoods and helps with cleanings, checkups, and fillings as needed.
Avi Weisfogel is a big sports fan. Besides working with people in the dental industry, Avi enjoys spending time with friends and family at sporting events. His favorite teams are the Cleveland Browns, The New York Rangers, The Lakers, and The Celtics. He participates in as many of the events as he possibly can. One of the most important times is spending time with family and friends. Avi does spend a lot of time giving lectures and speeches on sleep apnea and oral appliances. Each of the dentists that come to his lectures is always needing more help identifying potential problems so Avi helps them by training them what to look for. Avi continues to hope to help many more people in his travels and perfers to give rather than receive.
